What is TJB?

Non-profit organization created in1995, out of concern for the well-being and the need to provide assistance for the athletes and officials from Jamaica and the Caribbean.

Established, with the help and assistance of corporate sponsorships, community businesses and organization, coupled with a strong volunteer group, TJB provides meals, transportation and amenities for the duration of the athletes and officials staying in Philadelphia.

In 1999, Team Jamaica Bickle became the Jamaican organization to be a participating sponsor at the Penn Relays, thus allowing us to partner with our corporate friends. A distinction unmatched and as a result the Jamaican flag became the 1st foreign flag to be flown at the Penn Relays. TJB has received several proclamations from the Mayor of Philadelphia.

Mission

To provide our Athletes, and their coaches with support including amenities which will help in maximizing their athletic performance, therefore, providing them with the best opportunities which may arise from their attendance and performance at the annual Penn Relays in the United States of America.
